Verena Mundhenke (born April 9, 1978, in Frankfurt am Main, Germany) is a German actress, film director, and former model. Her birth name is Verena Mundhenke, though she is now also known and professionally listed under her married name, Verena Kringe.
She gained international recognition for her role as Lili in the 2006 biographical film Klimt, starring alongside John Malkovich. Her acting career spans various television and film projects, including a prominent recurring role as Maike Krogmann in the long-running German children's series Die Pfefferkörner (The Peppercorns). Other notable television appearances include the daily soap Hand aufs Herz and popular crime series such as SOKO Köln, SOKO Stuttgart, and Alarm für Cobra 11.
In addition to her work in front of the camera, Mundhenke has established herself as a director and producer. She directed and wrote the 2008 film Reise nach Amerika and provides a range of media services, from concept development to editing, through her own production platform.
