Jewel Shepard is an American actress, writer, and photographer best known for her roles in films like 'The Return of the Living Dead' (1985) and 'Party Camp' (1987). Born in California, she initially worked as a stripper and model to support herself before breaking into acting with 'The Junkman' (1982). Shepard has written for various publications including Premiere and Cosmopolitan. She published her autobiography 'If I'm So Famous, How Come Nobody's Ever Heard of Me?' in 1996, detailing her experiences in filmmaking and adult entertainment. Since 2011, she has been battling invasive breast cancer.
