Agostina Belli is a prominent Italian actress who became a celebrated figure of European cinema during the 1970s. Born as
Agostina Maria Magnoni on April 13, 1947, in Milan, Italy, she began her professional journey in the late 1960s. Her career quickly gained momentum as she appeared in a variety of genres, ranging from gritty "poliziotteschi" crime films to lighthearted Italian comedies.
She achieved international acclaim and solidified her status as a leading lady with her performance as Sara in Dino Risi’s 1974 masterpiece, Scent of a Woman (Profumo di donna). Her talent was further recognized in 1976 when she received a Special David di Donatello Award for her role in Telefoni Bianchi. Throughout her career, Belli worked alongside global stars like Kirk Douglas and Philippe Noiret, becoming one of the most recognizable faces of the "Golden Age" of Italian genre cinema.
