Story
Hard Drive follows Ditch, a 23-year-old virgin who leads a simple life recycling newspapers and listening to cassette tapes. His mother Barbara wishes he'd do more with his life, while their upstairs tenant Boomer Knudsten, a burnt-out jazz drummer, serves as an eccentric father figure. When Boomer suddenly dies, the enigmatic Debs arrives in the neighborhood, carrying nothing but her clothes, a cell phone she fears, and a laptop she guards closely. Ditch is drawn to Debs' mystery, and they embark on a relationship that Barbara watches with concern. As their connection deepens, Ditch and Debs explore discovery, understanding, and love together.
